Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 17th minute, Flann McSteve reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Conn Doyle. The goal made the score 2-0. Flann McSteve blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Conn Doyle having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Flann McSteve managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cragg's supporters rose to their feet, but Flann McSteve was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Conn Doyle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cragg's Flann McSteve came free and shot a quick shot against goal 32 minutes in the game, fortunately Conn Doyle had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Flann McSteve's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Conn Doyle firmly grabbed it by the left post. Donavon McFranks short, quick shot in the 40thth minute got Conn Doyle to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Flann McSteve in the 41stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Conn Doyle, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Donavon McFrank had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

In the 51stth minute of the game Terrence Dimson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cragg's Phelan Byrne was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Donavon McFrank received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Conn Doyle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 59 minutes of play, Cragg's Flann McSteve made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Conn Doyle was left in no man's land by his defense there! Knockboha's Conn Doyle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flann McSteve in the 67th minute of play. 69 minutes into the game, Abbot Myler was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cragg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Knockboha the free kick. Abbot Myler hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. When Brigid Lester came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Knockboha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brigid Lester couldn't finish the play. 76 minutes into the game, Flann McSteve cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Conn Doyle was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Flann McSteve sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Flann McSteve in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Conn Doyle prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Flann McSteve during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Flann McSteve kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Flann McSteve fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conn Doyle having to interfere. If Abbot Myler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 92 played minutes Cragg got a freekick which was hit by Abbot Myler. Bivadi Keegan kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match.
