The supporters of Cloughjordan Utd booed when Ballynasrah FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gearard Hamilton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Boyle McNamara who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 7thth minute tested the skills of Aubrey McTom when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Harry Frankson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Robin McTommy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A well done corner resulted in Ultan Delaney drilling the ball in to score 2-0 behind Ballynasrah FC's goalkeeper.
