Spectators: 6774 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bradaigh Tierney kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, Effickmore Utd's Breasal Scully got a free kick in the 6th minute. After 7 played minutes, Tomfarney Utd's Bardan McWill shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Herygh Hunt came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tomfarney Utd reached it. When Devlin Colwell fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tomfarney Utd's protests and gave Devlin Colwell a yellow card for diving instead. Bourns Morrison in the 13thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Beanon McWilliam, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Devlin Colwell hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Bradaigh Tierney might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Beanon McWilliam. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bradaigh Tierney ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eoin Cassin in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Herygh Hunt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Enda John kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Herygh Hunt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bressal McJohn went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 37th minute Eoin Cassin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herygh Hunt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Effickmore Utd's Bourns Morrison got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Enda John's late challenge caught a Tomfarney Utd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enda John helped the player get up and apologised. Enda John hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Tomfarney Utd's Bressal McJohn managed to work through Effickmore Utd's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Bressal McJohn dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eoin Cassin in the 44th minute of play forced Effickmore Utd's goalkeeper Herygh Hunt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bressal McJohn to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Bradaigh Tierney managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Effickmore Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bradaigh Tierney was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bressal McJohn in the 53rd minute of play forced Effickmore Utd's goalkeeper Herygh Hunt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Tomfarney Utd getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Devlin Colwell hit a great ball. Bourns Morrison fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beanon McWilliam having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, Bradaigh Tierney notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Tomfarney Utd's Beanon McWilliam. Beanon McWilliam was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 70th match minute, Effickmore Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enda John to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Effickmore Utd's zone, Bressal McJohn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herygh Hunt came out of the goal and Bressal McJohn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomfarney Utd's Bressal McJohn got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eoin Cassin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Brecc Palmer hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. If Bradaigh Tierney had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st match minute, Effickmore Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bradley Willson to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bressal McJohn in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Herygh Hunt saved Effickmore Utd from getting behind. Herygh Hunt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bressal McJohn, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
