Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Beanon Mullan made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 3rd minute Bradley Willson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joshua Lester saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 5 minutes into the match, Gortearagh's goal looked a bit too open when Bradley Willson came free, but Joshua Lester reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Effickmore Utd's Baiscend McBrandon couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 7th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Gortearagh. In the 9th minute Bradaigh Tierney shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joshua Lester saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute, Torin McFrancise hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Beanon Mullan got free with Herygh Hunt in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 19 minutes into the match, Gortearagh's goal looked a bit too open when Enda John came free, but Joshua Lester reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bradaigh Tierney scored 0-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joshua Lester, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Britt Martyn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herygh Hunt having to interfere. Beanon Mullan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Herygh Hunt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Bradaigh Tierney made a precise shot to the right of Joshua Lester. Gortearagh's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 39th minute, Pembroke Keegan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Harvey McPhil kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Herygh Hunt stood somewhat misplaced when Beanon Mullan came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 46 minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bradaigh Tierney to make the kick off. Beanon Mullan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 58 minutes into the match, Gortearagh's goalkeeper Joshua Lester had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enda John. Joshua Lester made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Enda John sent off a good shot on target. Gortearagh's Britt Martyn managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Harvey McPhil in the 64 minute of the game. Beanon Mullan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herygh Hunt having to interfere. Brenden Colwell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Joshua Lester tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Gortearagh's Britt Martyn got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Joshua Lester didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bourns Morrison went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Beanon Mullan in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Herygh Hunt saved Effickmore Utd from getting behind. Beanon Mullan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Herygh Hunt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Britt Martyn kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Effickmore Utd's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
