After having played for 10 minutes, Rowen Todd managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lugnadeffa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rowen Todd was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Darby McJohn took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 12th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for George McIan. Lugnadeffa's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 13th minute Rowen Todd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roy McJohnny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ryan Hughes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roy McJohnny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Piers Martyn in the 17th minute of play. Gearroid Molloy kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Roy McJohnny showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Piers Martyn in the 31st minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Kilmartin's goal looked a bit too open when Piers Martyn came free, but Roy McJohnny reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Piers Martyn in the 51st minute of play forced Kilmartin's goalkeeper Roy McJohnny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lugnadeffa's goalkeeper George McIan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. George McIan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Robin Gallagher's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. A collision led to Lugnadeffa getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Donal Mulvihill hit a great ball. Ryan Hughes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rowen Todd recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Piers Martyn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lugnadeffa's supporters rose to their feet, but Piers Martyn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roy McJohnny breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 72nd minute, Binne Hunt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th minute, Piers Martyn made a precise shot to the right of Roy McJohnny. Kilmartin's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 87 minutes into the match, Kilmartin's goal looked a bit too open when Piers Martyn came free, but Roy McJohnny reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
