After a rather tough play, Killyon's Baoithin Keegan got a free kick in the 18th minute. 19 minutes in the game, Beatty Ryan fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Lewis Kelly having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Beatty Ryan in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lewis Kelly saved Killyon from getting behind. Beatty Ryan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lewis Kelly having to make a save. 26 minutes into the match, Killyon's goalkeeper Lewis Kelly had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bairthmead McWill. If Baird Gough had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dillon Kelly kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Baird Gough sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Felim McLian kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. In the 97th minute, Beatty Ryan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match was over Killyon could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Belalt FC throughout the match.
