Spectators: 6766 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Berkeley Palmer made the kick off which started today's match. Berkeley Palmer might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Berke Dunne. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Berkeley Palmer ran back to his position shaking his head. Baird Gough sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Berkeley Palmer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Berke Dunne was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Killyon's Lewis Kelly proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Killyon from getting a goal against them. Annaleck's Baptist Martyn got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baird Gough in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Berke Dunne saved Annaleck from getting behind. Baird Gough recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Killyon booed when Annaleck was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bradley Matthews didn't get a good kick on the ball. Flann Rutherford hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Berkeley Palmer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 29 played minutes Annaleck got a freekick which was hit by Barr Deans. In the 32nd minute of the match David Caffrey shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Berke Dunne showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Killyon's Berkeley Palmer got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 39th minute, Brendon Barrett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Baird Gough fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Berke Dunne having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Baird Gough's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Berke Dunne was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. In the 45th minute Berkeley Palmer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Berke Dunne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Berke Dunne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berkeley Palmer in the 47th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Baptist Martyn to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baptist Martyn in the 55th minute of play forced Killyon's goalkeeper Lewis Kelly to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baoithin Keegan hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 61st minute, Trevor McGlynn left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Annaleck fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Berke Dunne made an important save on a dangerous shot by Flann Rutherford in the 64th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Berkeley Palmer in the 65th minute of play forced Annaleck's goalkeeper Berke Dunne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes into the game, Berkeley Palmer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Berke Dunne was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lewis Kelly showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Trevor McGlynn in the 69th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Berkeley Palmer in the 75th minute of play forced Annaleck's goalkeeper Berke Dunne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute, Flann Rutherford hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Flann Rutherford fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Killyon's protests and gave Flann Rutherford a yellow card for diving instead. Flann Rutherford hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Berke Dunne didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 84th minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. After 90 played minutes Berkeley Palmer rounded Annaleck's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-3. Baird Gough sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Flann Rutherford received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Berke Dunne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Killyon's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
