Beothach McTom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Rito, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Beale McWillie managed to get in a good position for a shot. Redgap's supporters rose to their feet, but Beale McWillie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Donlevy Moran breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mullanmoree's Donlevy Moran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tory Hunt in the 9th minute of play. After 10 minutes, Tory Hunt made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Mullanmoree's Donlevy Moran tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Marcos Rito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Redgap getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Desmond Horgan hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Rito in the 21st minute of play forced Redgap's goalkeeper Beothach McTom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Redgap's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Rito came free, but Beothach McTom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Redgap's Tory Hunt slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Donlevy Moran. That made the score 2-1 after 32 minutes of play. Marcos Rito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Beothach McTom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Beothach McTom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marek Zuraw in the 42nd minute of the match. After 46 minutes, Brine Gallagher mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mullanmoree and the Redgap players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Redgap booed when Mullanmoree was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brine Gallagher didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Beale McWillie stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes, Tevin Delaney mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Redgap and the Mullanmoree players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tevin Delaney kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Felim Caffey charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felim Caffey the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Beothach McTom came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Mullanmoree's Marek Zuraw. But to his dismay, Marek Zuraw quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-5. 87 minutes into the match, Redgap's Petran Tracy sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Donlevy Moran narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marcos Rito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beothach McTom having to interfere. 97 minutes into the match, Redgap's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Rito came free, but Beothach McTom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 97 minutes into the game, Petran Tracy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Redgap's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mullanmoree the free kick. When the final whistle sounded Mullanmoree left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Redgap.
