The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Drommahane AF's Rannal McTom dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Berke Dunne was out of position in the 6 minute of play, and Rannal McTom capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rannal McTom really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Rannal McTom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Berke Dunne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Drommahane AF's Tadhg Murphy slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Berke Dunne. That made the score 3-0 after 14 minutes of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Bercnan Grant kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Berke Dunne. That made the score 4-0 in the 21 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Drommahane AF's zone, Breandan Lavine stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bartley Colwell came out of the goal and Breandan Lavine tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Berke Dunne was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rannal McTom showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-0 in the 28 minute of play. In the 31st minute, Drommahane AF's Rannal McTom ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Berke Dunne. Berke Dunne yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 6-0. In the 34th minute, Pearse McSteven hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 37 played minutes Rannal McTom rounded Annaleck's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 7-0. After a defensive mix-up in Annaleck's zone, Tadhg Murphy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Berke Dunne came out of the goal and Tadhg Murphy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 42nd minute, Rannal McTom reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Berke Dunne. The goal made the score 8-0. Drommahane AF's Rannal McTom got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Berke Dunne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ailín McStephen in the 47th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 8-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Baptist Martyn made a kick off. If Baptist Martyn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 58 minutes into the match, Annaleck's goal looked a bit too open when Ailín McStephen came free, but Berke Dunne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rannal McTom succeeded in the game's 59th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 9-0. In the 62nd minute, Rannal McTom got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dermot Holt in the 64th minute of play forced Annaleck's goalkeeper Berke Dunne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bercnan Grant sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Berke Dunne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ailín McStephen, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Tadhg Murphy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Berke Dunne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 10-0 became the score in the 80th minute when Rannal McTom elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 83rd minute, Rannal McTom got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 86th minute, Rannal McTom made a precise shot to the right of Berke Dunne. Annaleck's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 11-0. In the 89th minute Rannal McTom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Berke Dunne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 90 minutes into the game, Drommahane AF's Tadhg Murphy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Berke Dunne made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 12-0. Drommahane AF walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
