The Mullanmoree fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bairthmead McWill got free with Donlevy Moran in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marek Zuraw fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harry Johnson having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, Belalt FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Rito came free, but Harry Johnson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Mullanmoree booed when Belalt FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nolen Mulvihill didn't get a good kick on the ball. Beatty Ryan charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Beatty Ryan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 83 played minutes Belalt FC got a freekick which was hit by Beatty Ryan.
