Spectators: 6774 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Piers Martyn started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rowen Todd in the 4th minute of play forced Redgap's goalkeeper Beothach McTom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rowen Todd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Beothach McTom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Redgap's zone, Piers Martyn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Beothach McTom came out of the goal and Piers Martyn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rowen Todd in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Beothach McTom prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Petran Tracy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Petran Tracy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 16 minutes into the game, Petran Tracy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Redgap's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lugnadeffa the free kick. George McIan didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 19th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. The supporters of Redgap booed when Lugnadeffa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barclay Molloy didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute Piers Martyn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beothach McTom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Beale McWillie's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but George McIan was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Rowen Todd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Beothach McTom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Lugnadeffa's Rowen Todd got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 44th match minute, Redgap was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bresal Gallagher to maneuver through the defense. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Beale McWillie to strike the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes Lugnadeffa got a freekick which was hit by Boyne McWillie. Lugnadeffa's George McIan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beale McWillie in the 57th minute of play. Beale McWillie might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over George McIan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Beale McWillie ran back to his position shaking his head. If Beale McWillie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Piers Martyn might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Beothach McTom . Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Piers Martyn ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 64th minute, Rowen Todd made a precise shot to the right of Beothach McTom . Redgap's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Boyne McWillie's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Beothach McTom read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Beothach McTom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Piers Martyn, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Piers Martyn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Beothach McTom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Piers Martyn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rowen Todd could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Beothach McTom made a huge save. The supporters of Lugnadeffa booed when Redgap was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tevin Delaney didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rowen Todd recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 86 minutes of play, Redgap's Beale McWillie made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. George McIan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Through an outstanding action, after 91 minutes, Beothach McTom successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Rowen Todd fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beothach McTom having to interfere. After 96 minutes, Rowen Todd made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side. Redgap's Beothach McTom tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Lugnadeffa's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
