Belalt FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Annaleck the free kick. Nolen Mulvihill kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Brendon Barrett charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Brendon Barrett the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Annaleck's Brendon Barrett got a free kick in the 36th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Annaleck's goal looked a bit too open when Beatty Ryan came free, but Berke Dunne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Harry Johnson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baptist Martyn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Annaleck's zone, Beatty Ryan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Berke Dunne came out of the goal and Beatty Ryan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bairthmead McWill got free with Berke Dunne in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Trevor McGlynn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harry Johnson having to interfere. 56 minutes in the game, Trevor McGlynn fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Harry Johnson having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beatty Ryan in the 65th minute of play forced Annaleck's goalkeeper Berke Dunne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Harry Johnson was a little too slow when Trevor McGlynn got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 66th minute. The score was now 2-1. After 72 played minutes Belalt FC got a freekick which was hit by Nolen Mulvihill. When Trevor McGlynn came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Annaleck fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Trevor McGlynn couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Belalt FC's Alexander Grant got a free kick in the 76th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Trevor McGlynn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Annaleck's supporters rose to their feet, but Trevor McGlynn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Harry Johnson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Annaleck's goalkeeper Berke Dunne, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Belalt FC's Harry Johnson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baptist Martyn in the 89th minute of play. Belalt FC's Bairthmead McWill got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Belalt FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
