Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Brann McOliver kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the game, Kealan Lester cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Blaire O'Down was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Lenankeel Utd's Pearce Brennan got a free kick in the 8th minute. The audience was convinced that Brann McOliver's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Blaire O'Down was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. After 14 played minutes Lenankeel Utd got a freekick which was hit by Tevis Barrett. 24 minutes into the match, Moate's goal looked a bit too open when Pearce Brennan came free, but Cleary McIan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Blaire O'Down stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Brann McOliver's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Lenankeel Utd's Blaire O'Down played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blian Ghee in the 33rd minute of play. 37 minutes into the game, Brann McOliver recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Blaire O'Down. Brann McOliver showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Lenankeel Utd's Blaire O'Down proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Lenankeel Utd from getting a goal against them. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pearce Brennan to make the kick off. Brann McOliver fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blaire O'Down having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Lenankeel Utd's Breandan McPhil got a free kick in the 54th minute. Blaire O'Down came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Moate's Brann McOliver. But to his dismay, Brann McOliver quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 66th match minute, Lenankeel Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel McSteve to maneuver through the defense. Kealan Lester might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Blaire O'Down. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kealan Lester ran back to his position shaking his head. Kealan Lester sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Kealan Lester succeeded in the game's 77th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 5-0. Brann McOliver sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tevis Barrett hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Brann McOliver fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blaire O'Down having to interfere. Blaire O'Down showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brann McOliver, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Moate's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
