Moate's Cleary McIan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Moate from getting a goal against them. Kealan Lester received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Brannon Keegan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brannon Keegan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brann McOliver, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. The Drumbeg AFC fans' excitement grew in the 41st match minute when Drumbeg AFC's Caolán Martyn looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Brannon Keegan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kealan Lester in the 46th minute of play.

In the 55th minute, Blian Ghee hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 61 played minutes Drumbeg AFC got a freekick which was hit by Bin Benson. Brannon Keegan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Brann McOliver's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. A collision led to Drumbeg AFC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Caolán Martyn hit a great ball. A hard shot 75 in the game by Kealan Lester from a close distance when the talented Brannon Keegan managed to make a qualified save. Drumbeg AFC's players were relieved. Blian Ghee charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Blian Ghee the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience was convinced that Brann McOliver's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Brannon Keegan was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Bil McLaughlin kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Moate's Boynton Caffey got a free kick in the 86th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Kealan Lester could shoot a difficult shot in the 89th minute, which Brannon Keegan however easily saved by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Drumbeg AFC's zone, Brann McOliver stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brannon Keegan came out of the goal and Brann McOliver tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 95th minute of the match, Kealan Lester got a very nice opportunity to score, but Brannon Keegan was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
