Birr Mullan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cleary McIan having to interfere. Moate's Cleary McIan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Birr Mullan in the 7th minute of play. Birr Mullan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donelle Kirby in the 16th minute of play forced Moate's goalkeeper Cleary McIan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fiachra Colwell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kealan Lester in the 19th minute. Beag Myler kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After having played for 23 minutes, Birr Mullan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kiniska's supporters crossed their fingers, but Birr Mullan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Birr Mullan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29thth minute of the game Birr Mullan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Moate's Cleary McIan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Boynton Caffey kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Beag Myler kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Moate's Boynton Caffey got a free kick in the 41st minute. The supporters of Moate booed when Kiniska was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teris Costello didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kealan Lester spun around in front of the goal 46 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Kiniska's goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Moate's Brann McOliver slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fiachra Colwell. That made the score 1-0 after 48 minutes of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
Birr Mullan came free with the goalkeeper in the 56th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Cleary McIan could save by the left post. Birr Mullan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Cleary McIan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Birr Mullan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 63rdth minute, Cleary McIan skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 63 minutes into the game, Tathan McCready was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Moate's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kiniska the free kick. Brann McOliver fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fiachra Colwell having to interfere. Cleary McIan made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Birr Mullan sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Moate's Bivadi Rutherford got a free kick in the 75th minute. When Bradain McSteven came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Kiniska fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bradain McSteven couldn't finish the play. Devlin Tracy hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Kiniska's Teris Costello shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 85th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Cleary McIan but with some difficulty. When Moate's Brann McOliver in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kiniska's goalie prevented a goal. If Birr Mullan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kealan Lester fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fiachra Colwell having to interfere. Despite being the better team, Kiniska failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
