Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Berrin John kicked off to start the match. If Cashel Taylor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 9th minute Berrin John shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donleavy Lester saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cashel Taylor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Healey Deery having to interfere. Cashel Taylor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Banvan Dunne's late challenge caught a Killmacomma's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Banvan Dunne helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Glenmaquin AFC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Banvan Dunne hit a great ball. The supporters of Glenmaquin AFC booed when Killmacomma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emmet Beckett didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Berrin John in the 18th minute of play forced Killmacomma's goalkeeper Donleavy Lester to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Glenmaquin AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Cashel Taylor came free, but Healey Deery reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Brendon Ramsey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Turlough McGlynn came free with the goalkeeper in the 31st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Healey Deery could save by the left post. After having played for 33 minutes, Cashel Taylor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Killmacomma's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cashel Taylor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Healey Deery showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cashel Taylor, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Glenmaquin AFC's zone, Turlough McGlynn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Healey Deery came out of the goal and Turlough McGlynn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tormaigh Rogers hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. 46 minutes into the match, Glenmaquin AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Cashel Taylor came free, but Healey Deery reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Turlough McGlynn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Healey Deery tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Healey Deery took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cashel Taylor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Healey Deery showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Turlough McGlynn in the 70th minute of the match. When Cashel Taylor came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Killmacomma fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cashel Taylor couldn't finish the play. Turlough McGlynn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Berrin John recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Turlough McGlynn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Killmacomma's supporters rose to their feet, but Turlough McGlynn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Healey Deery breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cashel Taylor in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Healey Deery saved Glenmaquin AFC from getting behind. Healey Deery made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Turlough McGlynn in the 87th minute of play. Glenmaquin AFC's Healey Deery played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cashel Taylor in the 94th minute of play. Cashel Taylor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Killmacomma were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Glenmaquin AFC to leave the ground with a draw.
