Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Donlevy McBrand started the match with the kick off. Beairtle Glen Crowe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pearce McPeter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patton McPaul hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Pearce McPeter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Beairtle Glen Crowe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Beairtle Glen Crowe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pearce McPeter, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 11th minute Pearce McPeter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beairtle Glen Crowe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Breslin McNamara notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Altans's Dolan McPaul. Dolan McPaul was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Altans booed when Tullykinroe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brefni McGlenn didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 21 played minutes, Altans's Phelan Lavine shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Beairtle Glen Crowe came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Altans reached it. In the 26th minute, Beacan Caffrey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dolan McPaul took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beacan Caffrey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Tullykinroe's Breslin McNamara slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dolan McPaul. That made the score 2-0 after 32 minutes of play. Beairtle Glen Crowe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donlevy McBrand in the 37th minute of the match. When Beacan Caffrey came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Tullykinroe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Beacan Caffrey couldn't finish the play. Tullykinroe's Beairtle Glen Crowe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donlevy McBrand in the 40th minute of play. The supporters of Altans booed when Tullykinroe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patton McPaul didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pearce McPeter scored 2-1 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Beairtle Glen Crowe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Beacan Caffrey to make the kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Beacan Caffrey who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Altans's Dolan McPaul was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pearce McPeter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute, Beacan Caffrey ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dolan McPaul was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. After a rather tough play, Tullykinroe's Sheridan Willson got a free kick in the 75th minute. Donlevy McBrand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tullykinroe's defense didn't have a chance, in the 86th minute, when Donlevy McBrand scored to the left of an out of position Beairtle Glen Crowe, making the score, 3-2. Tullykinroe's Beairtle Glen Crowe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Tullykinroe from getting a goal against them. For all the effort they put into the match, the Altans players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Tullykinroe.
