Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Pearce Brennan kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute, Bairthmead McGlenn reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Blaire O'Down. The goal made the score 1-0. When Lenankeel Utd's Donavin McJohnny in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dromgarriff's goalie prevented a goal. Thom McWillie hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the match, Lenankeel Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Brenn McCready came free, but Blaire O'Down reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thom McWillie hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After having played for 21 minutes, Pearce Brennan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lenankeel Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pearce Brennan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Blaire O'Down made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brenn McCready in the 25th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Dromgarriff's goal looked a bit too open when Donavin McJohnny came free, but Fergal Barrett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Blaire O'Down made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bairthmead McGlenn in the 31st minute. A well placed Brenn McCready short distance shot in the 39th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. Dromgarriff's Fergal Barrett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pearce Brennan in the 43rd minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Brenn McCready to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Barran McNamee hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lenankeel Utd's Blaire O'Down played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brenn McCready in the 56th minute of play. Pearce Brennan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 63 minutes into the game, Pearce Brennan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fergal Barrett. Pearce Brennan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. A collision led to Lenankeel Utd getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Barran McNamee hit a great ball. Seoirse Deans was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 69th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Bairthmead McGlenn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Brenn McCready fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blaire O'Down having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Brenn McCready managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dromgarriff's supporters rose to their feet, but Brenn McCready was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Blaire O'Down breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 78th minute, Thom McWillie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 86th minute, Brenn McCready ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Blaire O'Down was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Bairthmead McGlenn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blaire O'Down having to interfere. After 101 played minutes Lenankeel Utd got a freekick which was hit by Breandan McPhil. Dromgarriff were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Lenankeel Utd for a fine match.
