Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Beacan Caffrey kicked off to start the match. After having played for 3 minutes, Beacan Caffrey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tullykinroe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Beacan Caffrey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Beacan Caffrey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cleary McIan having to interfere. Brann McOliver received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Beairtle Glen Crowe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Tullykinroe getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Brefni McGlenn hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brann McOliver in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Beairtle Glen Crowe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 11 minutes, Patton McPaul mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tullykinroe and the Moate players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Moate booed when Tullykinroe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patton McPaul didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kealan Lester scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Beairtle Glen Crowe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Beairtle Glen Crowe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kealan Lester in the 17th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kealan Lester in the 20th minute of play forced Tullykinroe's goalkeeper Beairtle Glen Crowe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Beairtle Glen Crowe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kealan Lester, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute Brann McOliver shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beairtle Glen Crowe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute, Brann McOliver made a precise shot to the right of Beairtle Glen Crowe. Tullykinroe's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Patton McPaul hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Cleary McIan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beacan Caffrey in the 31st minute of the match. After 33 minutes of play, Moate's Kealan Lester made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Beairtle Glen Crowe was left in no man's land by his defense there! Breslin McNamara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kealan Lester fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beairtle Glen Crowe having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

After a rather tough play, Moate's Kealan Lester got a free kick in the 57th minute. Breslin McNamara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cleary McIan having to interfere. Moate's Cleary McIan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Breslin McNamara in the 61st minute of play. Cleary McIan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beacan Caffrey in the 62nd minute of the match. Cleary McIan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Breslin McNamara, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bryan Glen Crowe during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bryan Glen Crowe hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute, Breslin McNamara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Breslin McNamara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cleary McIan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Breslin McNamara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cleary McIan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beacan Caffrey in the 96th minute of play. Moate were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Tullykinroe's much stronger midfield.
