When Beacan Caffrey came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Tullykinroe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Beacan Caffrey couldn't finish the play. Dillon McAlphie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beacan Caffrey in the 28th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Barnycarroll's Basil Willson got a free kick in the 29th minute.
