After a rather tough play, Killmacomma's Emmet Beckett got a free kick in the 8th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bin Benson during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 20th minute, Bin Benson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Killmacomma's Donleavy Lester played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Breffni Willson in the 24th minute of play. Caolán Martyn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donleavy Lester having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Bin Benson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Caolán Martyn kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Turlough McGlynn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brannon Keegan having to interfere. In the 39th minute of the match Killmacomma got a corner. Drumbeg AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Troy Rutherford ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Killmacomma's Troy Rutherford to fire away a dangerous shot which Brannon Keegan despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Donleavy Lester made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Caolán Martyn sent off a good shot on target. Killmacomma's Cashel Taylor managed to work through Drumbeg AFC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Cashel Taylor dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Turlough McGlynn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Brannon Keegan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cashel Taylor to strike the kick off in the second half. Turlough McGlynn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brannon Keegan having to interfere. Turlough McGlynn in the 57thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Brannon Keegan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Brannon Keegan didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Killmacomma's Cashel Taylor shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 63rdth minute of the game Cashel Taylor who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Drumbeg AFC's Brannon Keegan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 67 minutes, Todd John mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Killmacomma and the Drumbeg AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Todd John kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Turlough McGlynn's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 69thth minute, Brannon Keegan skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 72nd minute, Cashel Taylor made a precise shot to the right of Brannon Keegan. Drumbeg AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. If Caolán Martyn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Breffni Willson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donleavy Lester having to interfere. Turlough McGlynn struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Brannon Keegan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Killmacomma. Cashel Taylor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 91st match minute, Drumbeg AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conleth Holt to maneuver through the defense. Breffni Willson struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Donleavy Lester didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Drumbeg AFC. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Breffni Willson in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Donleavy Lester prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Killmacomma players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
