Alan Caffey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beacan Caffrey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tullykinroe's Beairtle Glen Crowe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bevan McDonald in the 27th minute of play. Beacan Caffrey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Alan Caffey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Beairtle Glen Crowe came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Castlegar's Bevan McDonald. But to his dismay, Bevan McDonald quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beacan Caffrey in the 37th minute of play forced Castlegar's goalkeeper Alan Caffey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alan Caffey dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. 3-2 came in the 80th minute when Beatty Tierney all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Alan Caffey. Bevan McDonald came free with the goalkeeper in the 83rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Beairtle Glen Crowe could save by the left post. If Beacan Caffrey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Darrin Colwell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tullykinroe walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
