Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Killmacomma's Cashel Taylor started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Barran McNamee came up free with the goalie in the 2nd minute, the Lenankeel Utd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Barran McNamee couldn't finish the play. 6 minutes into the match, Lenankeel Utd's goalkeeper Blaire O'Down had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Turlough McGlynn. Lenankeel Utd's Blaire O'Down proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Lenankeel Utd from getting a goal against them. Blaire O'Down was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Turlough McGlynn showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. Pearce Brennan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Donleavy Lester tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Lenankeel Utd booed when Killmacomma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Todd John didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pearce Brennan in the 25th minute of play forced Killmacomma's goalkeeper Donleavy Lester to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 27 played minutes Killmacomma got a freekick which was hit by Eoin McTommy. In the 29th minute, Donavin McJohnny made a precise shot to the right of Donleavy Lester. Killmacomma's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pearce Brennan in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Donleavy Lester saved Killmacomma from getting behind. In the 34th minute Donavin McJohnny shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donleavy Lester saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Turlough McGlynn who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Blaire O'Down when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Turlough McGlynn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Killmacomma's supporters rose to their feet, but Turlough McGlynn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Blaire O'Down breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Killmacomma's Donleavy Lester played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pearce Brennan in the 43rd minute of play. Donavin McJohnny sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Pearce Brennan made the kick off in the second half. Troy Rutherford kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Raonall Callaghan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lenankeel Utd's supporters rose to their feet, but Raonall Callaghan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Donleavy Lester breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Pearce Brennan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Blaire O'Down made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Turlough McGlynn in the 56th minute of play. 62 minutes into the game, Troy Rutherford was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Killmacomma's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lenankeel Utd the free kick. After a rather tough play, Killmacomma's Troy Rutherford got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Donavin McJohnny struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Donleavy Lester didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lenankeel Utd. Killmacomma's Donleavy Lester played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pearce Brennan in the 65th minute of play. After 71 minutes of play, Killmacomma's Turlough McGlynn made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Blaire O'Down was left in no man's land by his defense there! Donleavy Lester took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pearce Brennan , even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes into the game, Turlough McGlynn cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Blaire O'Down was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Turlough McGlynn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blaire O'Down having to interfere. Blaire O'Down showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jarlath Lester, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Todd John recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Killmacomma had won after a very even match.
