Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Boethis Dimson made the kick off which started today's match. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Thom McWillie managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dromgarriff's supporters rose to their feet, but Thom McWillie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dillon McAlphie breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 11 played minutes Dromgarriff got a freekick which was hit by Art Scully. Basil Willson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fergal Barrett read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Dillon McAlphie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bairthmead McGlenn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Brenn McCready came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Dromgarriff fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brenn McCready couldn't finish the play. Basil Willson might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fergal Barrett. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Basil Willson ran back to his position shaking his head. Fergal Barrett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boethis Dimson in the 36th minute of the match. Boethis Dimson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Boethis Dimson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Fergal Barrett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Basil Willson in the 42ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fergal Barrett, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a defensive mix-up in Barnycarroll's zone, Bairthmead McGlenn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dillon McAlphie came out of the goal and Bairthmead McGlenn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Brenn McCready to make the kick off. Dromgarriff's Bairthmead McGlenn got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Brenn McCready blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dillon McAlphie having to make a save. Dillon McAlphie stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Brenn McCready's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. After 55th play minutes Basil Willson shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Fergal Barrett and just under the crossbar into goal. After having played for 60 minutes, Basil Willson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barnycarroll's supporters crossed their fingers, but Basil Willson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Dromgarriff getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Art Scully hit a great ball. 61 minutes into the match, Dromgarriff's goal looked a bit too open when Basil Willson came free, but Fergal Barrett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ryon John during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ryon John hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Seoirse Deans, 67 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dromgarriff's goalkeeper Fergal Barrett, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 71 minutes into the match, Barnycarroll's Boethis Dimson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fergal Barrett narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 73 played minutes Dromgarriff got a freekick which was hit by Brenn McCready. The audience was convinced that Boethis Dimson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fergal Barrett was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. A collision led to Dromgarriff getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Bel McTom hit a great ball. 80 minutes into the game, Barnycarroll's Boethis Dimson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fergal Barrett made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. 85 minutes into the match, Barnycarroll's Boethis Dimson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fergal Barrett narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Barnycarroll's Boethis Dimson got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fergal Barrett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boethis Dimson, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Basil Willson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Barnycarroll's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
