When Pearce Brennan came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Lenankeel Utd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pearce Brennan couldn't finish the play. After 38 minutes of play, Glenmaquin AFC's Brendon Ramsey made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. A collision led to Lenankeel Utd getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Barran McNamee hit a great ball. After 72 played minutes Glenmaquin AFC got a freekick which was hit by Bragain O'Down. If Donavin McJohnny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Healey Deery showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pearce Brennan in the 84th minute of the match.
