Bel McTom kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 37th minute of the match Castlegar got a corner. Dromgarriff's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Raonall O'Neill ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Raonall O'Neill almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Dromgarriff's Fergal Barrett did a great save. Bairthmead McGlenn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alan Caffey having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Brenn McCready got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Bairthmead McGlenn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 97th minute, Brenn McCready made a precise shot to the right of Alan Caffey. Castlegar's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Bevan McDonald could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 100th minute of the match, but Fergal Barrett made a huge save. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Dromgarriff had played much better football throughout.
