Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Coileán Delaney started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 5 minutes into the match, Sutton AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Binne Taylor came free, but Biviti Dillon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Bat McPhilip came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Corrigeenroe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bat McPhilip couldn't finish the play. In the 7th minute, Braon McJames hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Corrigeenroe's Tathan Byrne got control of the ball when Healey McBrandon tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Coileán Delaney had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Sutton AFC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Treno McJohnny hit a great ball. Bat McPhilip sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute, Healey McBrandon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 30 minutes into the match, Sutton AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Binne Taylor came free, but Biviti Dillon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Sutton AFC's zone, Bat McPhilip stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Biviti Dillon came out of the goal and Bat McPhilip tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 34 minutes of play, Sutton AFC's Healey McBrandon made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tathan Byrne was left in no man's land by his defense there! 39 minutes into the match, Corrigeenroe's Binne Taylor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Biviti Dillon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lewy Tracy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tathan Byrne having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bat McPhilip to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Brady Horgan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Corrigeenroe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sutton AFC the free kick. In the 53rd match minute, Corrigeenroe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brady Horgan to maneuver through the defense. Bohannon Costello took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tathan Byrne. Corrigeenroe's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 55 played minutes Sutton AFC got a freekick which was hit by Keeghan McWillie. Corrigeenroe's Tathan Byrne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Healey McBrandon in the 65th minute of play. In the 68th minute Healey McBrandon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tathan Byrne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Healey McBrandon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tathan Byrne having to interfere. If Binne Taylor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Coileán Delaney sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tathan Byrne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Healey McBrandon in the 82nd minute of play. Conor Callaghan's late challenge caught a Sutton AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Conor Callaghan helped the player get up and apologised. Conor Callaghan hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Corrigeenroe fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 87th minute. Penalty! In the 89th minute, Bohannon Costello ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tathan Byrne was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. A collision led to Corrigeenroe getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Antaine McJon hit a great ball. When Coileán Delaney came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Sutton AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Coileán Delaney couldn't finish the play. In the 99th minute of the match Beagan Lavine sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tathan Byrne skillfully saved the ball. There was no doubt that Sutton AFC were the better team. Sutton AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
