After a rather tough play, Monasteroris FC's Douglas McTommy got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Saoirse Hamilton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brian Ramsey having to interfere. A collision led to Monasteroris FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Peyton Byrne hit a great ball. 6 minutes into the match, Monasteroris FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bras McCready came free, but Brian Ramsey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan McPeter could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Brian Ramsey made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Monasteroris FC's Brendan Holt got a free kick in the 12th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Donagheumper's Ardán Hughes tried to score from far away in the 13th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Donagheumper's Ardán Hughes couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 16th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Monasteroris FC. Brian Ramsey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bairre Perth in the 20th minute of the match. After 23 minutes, Quaid Coyle mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Donagheumper and the Monasteroris FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 23 played minutes Donagheumper got a freekick which was hit by Quaid Coyle. Aodh Johnson kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Saoirse Hamilton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Brian Ramsey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Douglas McTommy hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. When Ryon Callaghan came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Monasteroris FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ryon Callaghan couldn't finish the play. Ciarán Todd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Reagan McNamara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ciarán Todd fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reagan McNamara having to interfere. In the 43rd minute Bras McCready shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brian Ramsey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
When Douglas McTommy came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Monasteroris FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Douglas McTommy couldn't finish the play. After having played for 57 minutes, Ryon Callaghan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Monasteroris FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ryon Callaghan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 62 minutes into the match, Bras McCready had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Brian Ramsey. Monasteroris FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bras McCready was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Brian Ramsey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan McPeter in the 65th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Donagheumper's Saoirse Hamilton got a free kick in the 72nd minute. A hard shot 82 in the game by Ciarán Todd from a close distance when the talented Reagan McNamara managed to make a qualified save. Donagheumper's players were relieved. Ciarán Todd struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Reagan McNamara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Monasteroris FC. If Jonathan McPeter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Monasteroris FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Brendan Holt hit a great ball. In the 96th minute Bras McCready shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brian Ramsey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Donagheumper players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
