The Ducalla Utd fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Casey Beckett managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ducalla Utd's supporters rose to their feet, but Casey Beckett was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Berach Mullan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ballygodboy's Berach Mullan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kain Tracy in the 18th minute of play. Kain Tracy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Corey McJohn's late challenge caught a Ballygodboy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Corey McJohn helped the player get up and apologised. Corey McJohn kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Geralt McLaughlin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bragan Dalton in the 40th minute of the match. After having played for 43 minutes, Reilly Beckett managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ducalla Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reilly Beckett was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 45th minute, Torrey Grant fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Geralt McLaughlin, passed just outside the right post. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Berach Mullan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casey Beckett in the 61st minute of the match. Torrey Grant sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Berach Mullan made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Kain Tracy sent off a good shot on target. Benen McLaughlin's late challenge caught a Ballygodboy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benen McLaughlin helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Ballygodboy booed when Ducalla Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benen McLaughlin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ballygodboy's Berach Mullan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Ballygodboy from getting a goal against them. The Ducalla Utd players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
