Bardain McCready fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ailill Moran having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Caimin McWill in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reginald Tierney prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Barhart Savic received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Reginald Tierney came out and tried to block the shot, but Barhart Savic slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 28th minute. Kilmaley AFC's Ailill Moran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beamard McBrandon in the 34th minute of play. When Caimin McWill came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Kilmaley AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Caimin McWill couldn't finish the play. Caimin McWill blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Reginald Tierney having to make a save. The supporters of Bunnow AFC booed when Kilmaley AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brenda McBrand didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bardain McCready stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 65th minute, Braeden Jameson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Caimin McWill recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Bunnow AFC's zone, Caimin McWill stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reginald Tierney came out of the goal and Caimin McWill tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Caimin McWill during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Kilmaley AFC booed when Bunnow AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Garrett Prunty didn't get a good kick on the ball. 87 minutes into the game, Bardain McCready was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bunnow AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kilmaley AFC the free kick. A collision led to Bunnow AFC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Bardain McCready hit a great ball. In the 91stth minute of the game Caimin McWill who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bunnow AFC's Reginald Tierney was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
