Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emmet Brennan in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ros Caffrey prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Blake Hughes charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Blake Hughes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience was convinced that Fergus Hughes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ros Caffrey was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. If Beccan McPhil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Emmet Brennan put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Ros Caffrey. Drumoghill's Harley McWill played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quinton Gollogley in the 40th minute of play. Drumoghill's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Brennon Crowe scored to the left of an out of position Harley McWill, making the score, 1-2. Beccan McPhil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Quinton Gollogley to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Quinton Gollogley left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Enniskeen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Blake Hughes took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Harley McWill. Drumoghill's Harley McWill played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paudraig McIan in the 58th minute of play.
