Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Bray McCollion took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 4th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Berkley Bayes. Kilmaley AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Baptist Lester showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Berkley McBrand in the 6th minute of the match. Berkley McBrand took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Baptist Lester. Baptist Lester dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Henry Mullan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bret McTommy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Berkley Bayes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Berkley Bayes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Mullan in the 15th minute of play. After 15 played minutes Killycross got a freekick which was hit by Dillon Tierney. When Kilmaley AFC's Berkley McBrand in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Killycross's goalie prevented a goal. Baptist Lester took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Berkley McBrand, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 20 minutes, Bret McTommy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Killycross's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bret McTommy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Berkley Bayes had great luck who in the 29thth minute grab hold of the ball when Henry Mullan from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Baptist Lester showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berkley McBrand, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After having played for 34 minutes, Henry Mullan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Killycross's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henry Mullan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Braeden Jameson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Baptist Lester tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd play minute Bret McTommy came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Berkley Bayes. 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Braeden Jameson to make the kick off. Berkley McBrand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Braeden Jameson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baptist Lester having to interfere. Bret McTommy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Berkley Bayes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. If Bret McTommy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Kilmaley AFC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Berkley McBrand hit a great ball. Bret McTommy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Berkley Bayes having to interfere. Berkley Bayes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bret McTommy, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Henry Mullan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Berkley Bayes having to make a save. Kilmaley AFC's Berkley Bayes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henry Mullan in the 78th minute of play. Berkley Bayes came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Killycross's Henry Mullan. But to his dismay, Henry Mullan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 86th match minute, Killycross was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bray McCollion to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Braeden Jameson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baptist Lester was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. Killycross were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Kilmaley AFC for a fine match.
