Brakawn Ghee made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Scully in the 51st minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Carrigeen's Donelle Dempsey sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Brakawn Ghee narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee showed Donelle Benson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Glasacken FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. The referee ignored Glasacken FC's protests and gave Patton Robinson a yellow card for diving instead. After 77 played minutes, Carrigeen's Bat Rogers shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Brakawn Ghee came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Carrigeen reached it. 80 minutes into the match, Glasacken FC's goal looked a bit too open when Harkin Sheridan came free, but Brakawn Ghee reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patton Robinson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bearnad John having to interfere.
