Bannan MaCollin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bivitas McDecland in the 4th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Carrigeen's Alex Scully got a free kick in the 5th minute. 6 minutes into the match, Creggolympry's Brennen Coyle broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When Phelim McFrancise came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Creggolympry fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Phelim McFrancise couldn't finish the play. Berkeley Myler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bearnad John having to interfere. Bearnad John showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donegal Jameson in the 15th minute of the match. In the 16th match minute, Creggolympry was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Comhghall Hughes to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute of the match Bat Rogers sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bannan MaCollin skillfully saved the ball. Bivitas McDecland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bivitas McDecland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Bannan MaCollin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Donelle Dempsey notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Creggolympry's Bannan MaCollin. Bannan MaCollin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Donegal Jameson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Creggolympry's Bannan MaCollin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donelle Dempsey in the 34th minute of play. Bearnad John showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donegal Jameson in the 37th minute of the match. If Donegal Jameson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 40 minutes, Donegal Jameson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Creggolympry's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donegal Jameson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Donelle Dempsey stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Bivitas McDecland reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bannan MaCollin. The goal made the score 0-2. Creggolympry's Bannan MaCollin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Creggolympry from getting a goal against them. In the 60th minute of the match, Donelle Dempsey tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bannan MaCollin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Bivitas McDecland recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donelle Dempsey in the 66th minute of play forced Creggolympry's goalkeeper Bannan MaCollin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Donegal Jameson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bearnad John. Carrigeen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Donegal Jameson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After 74 played minutes Donelle Dempsey rounded Creggolympry's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-3. Phelim McFrancise kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Creggolympry's Bannan MaCollin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donelle Dempsey in the 81st minute of play. Donelle Dempsey struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Bannan MaCollin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carrigeen. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Suibhne Dunne during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Suibhne Dunne kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Bivitas McDecland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Bannan MaCollin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bearnad John showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donegal Jameson, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Bearnad John stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Berkeley Myler's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. 94 minutes into the game, Bivitas McDecland cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Bannan MaCollin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Carrigeen players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
