But to his dismay, Bean Lavine quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Birr McJohnny showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bean Lavine in the 8th minute of the match. Brakawn Ghee showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beagan Rutherford in the 10th minute of the match. Brakawn Ghee made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Banon Silke sent off a good shot on target. Bean Lavine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Birr McJohnny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bean Lavine in the 28th minute of play. When Donn McWill fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Coolnageragh's protests and gave Donn McWill a yellow card for diving instead. After 29 played minutes Coolnageragh got a freekick which was hit by Donn McWill. Brakawn Ghee was a little too slow when Donn McWill got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. The score was now 2-1. Birr McJohnny showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bean Lavine in the 35th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Banon Silke got free with Brakawn Ghee in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donn McWill in the 40th minute of play forced Glasacken FC's goalkeeper Brakawn Ghee to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute, Donn McWill reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Brakawn Ghee. The goal made the score 3-1. Donncha Quinnless sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Donncha Quinnless to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Glasacken FC's goal looked a bit too open when Donn McWill came free, but Brakawn Ghee reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd match minute, Glasacken FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bean Lavine to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Glasacken FC defense, Donncha Quinnless kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Brakawn Ghee. The Glasacken FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Brakawn Ghee should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donn McWill in the 69th minute of play forced Glasacken FC's goalkeeper Brakawn Ghee to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 77 played minutes Coolnageragh got a freekick which was hit by Nolen McNamara. Donelle Benson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 78th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Birr McJohnny. Coolnageragh's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donn McWill in the 81st minute of play forced Glasacken FC's goalkeeper Brakawn Ghee to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd match minute, Glasacken FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bean Lavine to maneuver through the defense. With 85 minutes on the clock, Killian McLaughlin commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 86 played minutes Glasacken FC got a freekick which was hit by Killian McLaughlin. Nolen McNamara took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 87th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Brakawn Ghee. Glasacken FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 89th minute, Baran McPhil got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Glasacken FC's goalkeeper Brakawn Ghee, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Brakawn Ghee showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Banon Silke, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. 96 minutes into the game, Coolnageragh's Donn McWill nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Brakawn Ghee made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Coolnageragh's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
