Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Donegal Jameson got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donegal Jameson in the 3rd minute of play forced Scrawtown's goalkeeper George Hughes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 4th minute Berkeley Myler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Hughes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Creggolympry booed when Scrawtown was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. It was Brennen Coyle who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Brennen Coyle almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Scrawtown's George Hughes did a great save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Berkeley Myler during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Scrawtown booed when Creggolympry was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berkeley Myler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bodibeua Harkin's late challenge caught a Creggolympry's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bodibeua Harkin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 21st match minute, Scrawtown was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bodibeua Harkin to maneuver through the defense. Donegal Jameson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. George Hughes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Phelim McFrancise fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Creggolympry's protests and gave Phelim McFrancise a yellow card for diving instead. Phelim McFrancise hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After having played for 38 minutes, Rowley McFrank managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Scrawtown's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rowley McFrank was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bannan MaCollin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shea Perth in the 41st minute of play. Kieran McPhil hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After 44 minutes of play, Creggolympry's Donegal Jameson made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. George Hughes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Donegal Jameson struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. George Hughes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Creggolympry. The Scrawtown players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Creggolympry were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bodibeua Harkin made a kick off. If Phelim McFrancise had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck George Hughes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bannan MaCollin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rowley McFrank in the 70th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Rowley McFrank left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Scrawtown fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 75th minute, Berkeley Myler fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of George Hughes, passed just outside the right post. Score! 2-1. Berkeley Myler could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but George Hughes made a huge save. Rowley McFrank's late challenge caught a Creggolympry's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brennen Coyle took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for George Hughes. Scrawtown's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Scrawtown fans cheered their team off the field, for while Creggolympry had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
