Sheridan McPhilip sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Toren McPaul struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Denny Cooney didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bunnaton AFC. After 7 played minutes Scrahan got a freekick which was hit by Carson McJames. Sheridan McPhilip's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Denny Cooney read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Ros Gough made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bola Silke in the 11th minute of play. 12 minutes into the game, Dawayne Hutton was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Scrahan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bunnaton AFC the free kick. In the 12th match minute, Scrahan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dawayne Hutton to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the match, Scrahan's goal looked a bit too open when Sheridan McPhilip came free, but Denny Cooney reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dawayne Hutton kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Scrahan's Denny Cooney played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sheridan McPhilip in the 19th minute of play. Donncha McWill kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Denny Cooney acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 24th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Boynton Colwell. The audience was convinced that Reidy McSteve's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ros Gough was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Scrahan's Bola Silke got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bunnaton AFC's Ros Gough played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reidy McSteve in the 31st minute of play. Blayne Dalton hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Bola Silke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Ros Gough tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bunnaton AFC's Ros Gough played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bola Silke in the 35th minute of play. When Blayne Dalton fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bunnaton AFC's protests and gave Blayne Dalton a yellow card for diving instead. After 37 played minutes Bunnaton AFC got a freekick which was hit by Blayne Dalton . Ros Gough stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bola Silke's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Toren McPaul received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Denny Cooney tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Scrahan's Reidy McSteve fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Reidy McSteve to strike the kick off in the second half. When Bola Silke came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Scrahan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bola Silke couldn't finish the play. In the 53rd minute, Loughlin McStephen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 56 played minutes Bunnaton AFC got a freekick which was hit by Royan Dalton . 57 minutes into the match, Scrahan's Brandon McJon broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. With an all-out effort, Scrahan's Ros Gough threw himself towards the right post 59 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Reidy McSteve, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ros Gough showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reidy McSteve, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 63rd minute, Bunnaton AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Reidy McSteve fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Sheridan McPhilip had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Sheridan McPhilip sped through Scrahan's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Denny Cooney. Bola Silke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bunnaton AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 84th minute, when Reidy McSteve scored to the left of an out of position Ros Gough, making the score, 1-1. Ros Gough made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reidy McSteve in the 88th minute of play. When Bola Silke came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Scrahan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bola Silke couldn't finish the play. Ros Gough took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reidy McSteve, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bunnaton AFC's Toren McPaul got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
