Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bodibeua Harkin kicked off to start the match. The long shot by Bragan John in the 3rd minute really tested George Hughes's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. George Hughes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Brian Ryan went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 10th minute, Brian Ryan fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Beartlai Caffey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 13th minute, Brian Ryan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. George Hughes was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. George Hughes was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Brian Ryan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Brian Ryan really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. In the 22nd minute Bodibeua Harkin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Don Ferguson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rowley McFrank during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Portsalon booed when Scrawtown was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rowley McFrank didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Scrawtown's Andrew McBjarton got a free kick in the 25th minute. Brian Ryan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Brian Ryan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brian Ryan in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck George Hughes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Brian Ryan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without George Hughes having to interfere. Brian Ryan in the 48thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of George Hughes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Brian Ryan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Scrawtown's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Beartlai Caffey was slow to take the kick. During this time Portsalon's players had a chance to rest. Portsalon's Beartlai Caffey was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but George Hughes in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Brian Ryan scored 4-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of George Hughes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Brian Ryan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. George Hughes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Scrawtown's George Hughes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brian Ryan in the 68th minute of play. George Hughes didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Portsalon's Brian Ryan shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 6-0 in the ordered_time% minute. The supporters of Scrawtown booed when Portsalon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gearoid Gollogley didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brian Ryan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without George Hughes having to make a save. George Hughes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brian Ryan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 86 minutes, Brian Ryan made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. Scrawtown's George Hughes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Portsalon walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
