In the 20th minute, Donelle Benson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bean Lavine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ros Gough having to interfere. Brakawn Ghee showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Royan Dalton , who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After a rather tough play, Glasacken FC's Ros Moran got a free kick in the 27th minute. After 28 played minutes Glasacken FC got a freekick which was hit by Killian McLaughlin. With an all-out effort, Bunnaton AFC's Brakawn Ghee threw himself towards the right post 34 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sheridan McPhilip, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Bean Lavine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Beltany McSteven had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When Toren McPaul fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bunnaton AFC's protests and gave Toren McPaul a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Bunnaton AFC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Toren McPaul hit a great ball. Bean Lavine succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 54th playminute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Royan Dalton in the 60th minute of play forced Glasacken FC's goalkeeper Brakawn Ghee to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute Toren McPaul shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brakawn Ghee saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Bunnaton AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Phillip McLiam came free, but Ros Gough reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Glasacken FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
