Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Monavarnoge Utd's Farrell Hamilton started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bantry McJohn hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. In the 5th minute, one of Fodry:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Fodry. In the 6th minute there was a penalty for Monavarnoge Utd. Bedilia McDonald stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Blar Martyn. 0-1. In the 11th minute, Fodry's Bailey McCollion ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Torna Deans. Torna Deans yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. In the 14th minute, Healy Savic left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Monavarnoge Utd fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After 17 minutes, Phillip Prunty mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fodry and the Monavarnoge Utd players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 17th match minute, Fodry was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Phillip Prunty to maneuver through the defense. Torna Deans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bailey McCollion, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Bailey McCollion recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Brennon McCollion's late challenge caught a Monavarnoge Utd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brennon McCollion helped the player get up and apologised. After 28 played minutes Fodry got a freekick which was hit by Brennon McCollion. In the 30thth minute of the game Farrell Hamilton who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fodry's Blar Martyn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Blar Martyn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Healy Savic, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Torna Deans made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Kealan Hutton sent off a good shot on target. After 37 minutes, Bailey McCollion made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Monavarnoge Utd's Torna Deans tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Fodry's zone, Healy Savic stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Blar Martyn came out of the goal and Healy Savic tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Blar Martyn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Farrell Hamilton , even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Farrell Hamilton in the 46th minute of play forced Fodry's goalkeeper Blar Martyn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bailey McCollion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Bailey McCollion made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Monavarnoge Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Bailey McCollion came free, but Torna Deans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Monavarnoge Utd defense, Kealan Hutton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Torna Deans. The Monavarnoge Utd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Torna Deans should have stopped the shot. In the 61st minute, Bedilia McDonald sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Fodry's Blar Martyn didn't even have to move. The supporters of Monavarnoge Utd booed when Fodry was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brennon McCollion didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Farrell Hamilton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Healy Savic took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Blar Martyn. Blar Martyn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. After 71 minutes of play Fodry's Brennon McCollion was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 71st match minute, Fodry was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brennon McCollion to maneuver through the defense. 74 minutes into the match, Fodry's goalkeeper Blar Martyn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Healy Savic. 76 minutes into the match, Kealan Hutton notched a goal, 4-3, to the right of Monavarnoge Utd's Torna Deans. Torna Deans was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 83rd minute, Kealan Hutton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kealan Hutton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torna Deans having to interfere. Torna Deans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kealan Hutton in the 92nd minute of play. Torna Deans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kealan Hutton, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. When Conleth Ghee fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Monavarnoge Utd's protests and gave Conleth Ghee a yellow card for diving instead. After 95 played minutes Monavarnoge Utd got a freekick which was hit by Conleth Ghee . When the referee ended the match the Fodry players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
