After a defensive mix-up in Bellanaboy's zone, Timothy McSteve stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bevan Robinson came out of the goal and Timothy McSteve tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 20 minutes into the match, Timothy McSteve had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bevan Robinson. Bellanaboy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Timothy McSteve was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. When Flannery McFrank fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bellanaboy's protests and gave Flannery McFrank a yellow card for diving instead. Flannery McFrank kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Baine Johnson made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Doocastle's zone, Flannery McFrank stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rorry Byrne came out of the goal and Flannery McFrank tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Brak McJon hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Rorry Byrne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baine Johnson, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After some careless play in the Doocastle defense, Baine Johnson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rorry Byrne. The Doocastle fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rorry Byrne should have stopped the shot. An unexpected shot in the 61st minute by Baine Johnson got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Roland McDonald received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rorry Byrne came out and tried to block the shot, but Roland McDonald slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 61st minute. 66 minutes into the match, Doocastle's goalkeeper Rorry Byrne had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baine Johnson. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Doocastle's goalkeeper Rorry Byrne, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 69 minutes, Roland McDonald managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bellanaboy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roland McDonald was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 71 minutes into the match, Doocastle's goalkeeper Rorry Byrne had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roland McDonald. Doocastle's Rorry Byrne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roland McDonald in the 72nd minute of play. Rorry Byrne made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roland McDonald in the 78th minute. Baine Johnson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bevan Robinson came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Doocastle's Timothy McSteve. But to his dismay, Timothy McSteve quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4.
