Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Brak McJon made the kick off which started today's match. Branson Dillon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timothy McSteve in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 7th match minute, Doocastle was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brannon Byrne to maneuver through the defense. Boru McWillie in the 10thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rorry Byrne, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With splendid footwork Tormaigh Prunty arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-0 by the left pole in the game's 13th minute. In the 19thth minute of the game Tormaigh Prunty who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Doocastle's Rorry Byrne was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rorry Byrne made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Boru McWillie sent off a good shot on target. Doocastle's Brak McJon got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Timothy McSteve in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Branson Dillon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 31 played minutes Doocastle got a freekick which was hit by Teigue O'Down. Boru McWillies short, quick shot in the 40thth minute got Rorry Byrne to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 42ndth minute of the game Tormaigh Prunty who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Doocastle's Rorry Byrne was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rorry Byrne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tormaigh Prunty, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Tormaigh Prunty made the kick off in the second half. Doocastle's Brak McJon got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rorry Byrne came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Cloonaghboy Utd's Boru McWillie. But to his dismay, Boru McWillie quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Rorry Byrne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tormaigh Prunty, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Rorry Byrne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boru McWillie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Cloonaghboy Utd's Tormaigh Prunty in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Doocastle's goalie prevented a goal. When Boru McWillie, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 71 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Rorry Byrne was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Tormaigh Prunty struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Rorry Byrne didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cloonaghboy Utd. After a rather tough play, Doocastle's Beothach Hunt got a free kick in the 77th minute. Cloonaghboy Utd's Cathal Ghee got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 81 played minutes Doocastle got a freekick which was hit by Felim Taylor. Cathal Ghee was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 82nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Cloonaghboy Utd's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cathal Ghee in the 86th minute. The corner ended in Cathal Ghee almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Doocastle's Rorry Byrne did a great save. 89 minutes into the match, Boru McWillie notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Doocastle's Rorry Byrne. Rorry Byrne was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Boru McWillie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Doocastle's Beothach Hunt got his second yellow card of the match in the 95th minute. The referee ordered Beothach Hunt off the ground. Beothach Hunt kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. After 96 played minutes, Cloonaghboy Utd's Cathal Ghee shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rorry Byrne came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cloonaghboy Utd reached it. Doocastle's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
