An unexpectedly hard shot by Tormaigh Prunty in the 9th minute of play forced Bellanaboy's goalkeeper Bevan Robinson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Cloonaghboy Utd's Branson Dillon got control of the ball when Roland McDonald tried to sneak it across the goal line. Boru McWillie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice moves Roland McDonald could shoot a difficult shot in the 16th minute, which Branson Dillon however easily saved by the left post. 23 minutes into the match, Cloonaghboy Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Baine Johnson came free, but Branson Dillon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bevan Robinson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tormaigh Prunty, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. A collision led to Bellanaboy getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Benen McWillie hit a great ball. Cathal Ghee was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 26th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Boru McWillie struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Bevan Robinson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cloonaghboy Utd. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tormaigh Prunty in the 31st minute of play forced Bellanaboy's goalkeeper Bevan Robinson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tormaigh Prunty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Cloonaghboy Utd booed when Bellanaboy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Braoin Colwell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Boru McWillie hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baine Johnson in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Branson Dillon saved Cloonaghboy Utd from getting behind. Baine Johnson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Branson Dillon having to interfere. Baine Johnson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Branson Dillon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Tormaigh Prunty came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Cloonaghboy Utd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tormaigh Prunty couldn't finish the play. Benen McWillie was shown his second yellow card after 47 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 47 played minutes Bellanaboy got a freekick which was hit by Benen McWillie. 48 minutes into the match, Cloonaghboy Utd's Cathal Ghee broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Through an outstanding action, after 54 minutes, Bevan Robinson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.
