Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rory Martyn kicked off to start the match. Bradner Caffrey was extremely unlucky when he, in the 4th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 7 played minutes Belclare got a freekick which was hit by Bragan John. After a defensive mix-up in Belclare's zone, Arthur McTommy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Torrey McBrandon came out of the goal and Arthur McTommy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Belclare getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Sean McLian hit a great ball. In the 12th minute of the match Barram Ghee sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Torrey McBrandon skillfully saved the ball. Bradner Caffrey took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Beale Palmer. Beale Palmer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. When Bressal Tracy came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Ballinafad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bressal Tracy couldn't finish the play. 18 minutes into the match, Belclare's goal looked a bit too open when Arthur McTommy came free, but Torrey McBrandon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bressal Tracy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torrey McBrandon having to interfere. Torrey McBrandon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arthur McTommy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bressal Tracy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Torrey McBrandon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Ballinafad getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Barram Ghee hit a great ball. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Belclare's goalkeeper Torrey McBrandon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Belclare's Rory Martyn slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Beale Palmer. That made the score 2-0 after 37 minutes of play. In the 44th minute, Terry McLiam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Torrey McBrandon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arthur McTommy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Belclare's Don Rutherford got a free kick in the 48th minute. Ballinafad's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Barram Ghee in the 51st minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Belclare's goalie and right to Rordan Ramsey. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Belclare's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Bradner Caffrey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beale Palmer having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Rory Martyn put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Beale Palmer. Belclare's Torrey McBrandon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arthur McTommy in the 68th minute of play. In the 73rd minute, one of Ballinafad:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ballinafad. Rory Martyn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Don Rutherford was shown his second yellow card after 80 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Belclare's Don Rutherford got a free kick in the 81st minute. After having played for 82 minutes, Arthur McTommy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ballinafad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arthur McTommy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bressal Tracy's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 86thth minute, Torrey McBrandon skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bragan John during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 91st minute, Bragan John hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 92 played minutes, Ballinafad's Barram Ghee shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Torrey McBrandon came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ballinafad reached it. 95 minutes into the match, Arthur McTommy dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Torrey McBrandon, 4-1. A collision led to Belclare getting a freekick after 99 minutes play. Bragan John hit a great ball. Belclare's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
