Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Bellanaboy's Baine Johnson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 played minutes Bellanaboy got a freekick which was hit by Lee Dillon. After 7 played minutes Bellanaboy got a freekick which was hit by Benen McWillie. Basil Harkin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bevan Robinson having to interfere. Lou McFrancise received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Bevan Robinson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Bellanaboy's Bevan Robinson got control of the ball when Basil Harkin tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Baine Johnson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bellanaboy's supporters rose to their feet, but Baine Johnson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Beacan Quinnless breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Basil Harkin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute, Derry McBrand hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benen McWillie hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Basil Harkin was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 39th minute. Glantane's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Lou McFrancise had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flannery McFrank's late challenge caught a Glantane's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Flannery McFrank helped the player get up and apologised.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lou McFrancise made a kick off. Basil Harkin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th match minute, Bellanaboy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flannery McFrank to maneuver through the defense. Barran Frankson, 60 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Glantane's Beacan Quinnless played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baine Johnson in the 63rd minute of play. Bevan Robinson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lou McFrancise in the 65th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baine Johnson in the 68th minute of play forced Glantane's goalkeeper Beacan Quinnless to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bevan Robinson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lou McFrancise, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lou McFrancise sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 78 minutes into the match, Bellanaboy's goal looked a bit too open when Basil Harkin came free, but Bevan Robinson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bevan Robinson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basil Harkin in the 86th minute of play. Glantane's Beacan Quinnless proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Glantane from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lou McFrancise in the 93rd minute of play forced Bellanaboy's goalkeeper Bevan Robinson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
