Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bercnan McBrand started the match with the kick off. In the 6th minute of the match Herygh McJohnny shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bairee Dimson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 7 minutes into the game, Beollan Harkin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Bairee Dimson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bairee Dimson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Becc McAlphie, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 15 minutes into the game, Blair Cooney was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Belra's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ardaghy the free kick. After having played for 26 minutes, Becc McAlphie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ardaghy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Becc McAlphie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bairee Dimson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barde McSteven, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. If Trien McTom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bercnan McBrand who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Gordan McPeter when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Belra's Kevinn Ryan got a free kick in the 39th minute. After 42 played minutes Ardaghy got a freekick which was hit by Trien McTom . Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Becc McAlphie was the one to do the kick off. Danann Mulvihill's late challenge caught a Belra's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Danann Mulvihill helped the player get up and apologised. In the 52nd minute there was a penalty for Belra. Kevinn Ryan stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gordan McPeter. 1-1. In the 55th minute, Barde McSteven reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bairee Dimson. The goal made the score 1-2. 65 minutes into the match, Becc McAlphie dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bairee Dimson, 1-3. Becc McAlphie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Trien McTom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gordan McPeter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bercnan McBrand, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kevinn Ryan charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kevinn Ryan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 96 played minutes Belra got a freekick which was hit by Emmet Tracy. When the match was over Ardaghy could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Belra throughout the match.
