Spectators: 6767 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1767, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ravan McLiam took the kick off in the first half of the match. Bairee Dimson was out of position in the 4 minute of play, and Ravan McLiam capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ravan McLiam really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Glenrovagh's Piers Silke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bercnan McBrand in the 8th minute of play. Bercnan McBrand might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Piers Silke. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bercnan McBrand ran back to his position shaking his head. After 11 played minutes Glenrovagh got a freekick which was hit by Gearroid Dimson. In the 12thth minute of the game Bercnan McBrand who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Glenrovagh's Piers Silke was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gearroid Dimson's late challenge caught a Belra's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gearroid Dimson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 13th minute, Gearroid Dimson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bercnan McBrand in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Piers Silke saved Glenrovagh from getting behind. Bryan Harkin charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bryan Harkin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 19 played minutes Belra got a freekick which was hit by Bryan Harkin. In the 20th minute of the match Baiscend Bayes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bairee Dimson skillfully saved the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bercnan McBrand in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Piers Silke prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bairee Dimson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gearroid Dimson, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bercnan McBrand was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute of the match Belra got a corner. Glenrovagh's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Derry Sheridan ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Belra's corner Kevinn Ryan fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Piers Silke quite easily take care of the ball. Bercnan McBrand in the 55thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Piers Silke, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 58th minute, Derry Sheridan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bercnan McBrand in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Piers Silke prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 76th match minute, Glenrovagh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gearroid Dimson to maneuver through the defense. 77 minutes into the game, Bercnan McBrand recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Piers Silke. Bercnan McBrand showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Bercnan McBrand kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. A collision led to Belra getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Derry Sheridan hit a great ball. Glenrovagh's Baiscend Bayes got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bercnan McBrand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bercnan McBrand recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 93rd minute, Emmet Tracy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Glenrovagh had won after a very even match.
