In the 7th minute, Branigan Perth sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Glantane's Beacan Quinnless didn't even have to move. Basil Harkin scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Berrach McWilliam, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Glantane's Basil Harkin got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to RockoR getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Breccan McNamee hit a great ball. Lou McFrancise struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Berrach McWilliam didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Glantane. In the 25th minute Lou McFrancise shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Berrach McWilliam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Berrach McWilliam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lou McFrancise, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 33rd minute, Bell McLiam got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 38 minutes into the game, Breccan McNamee was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RockoR's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Glantane the free kick. Breccan McNamee kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. After having played for 40 minutes, Lou McFrancise managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Glantane's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lou McFrancise was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Basil Harkin might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Berrach McWilliam. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Basil Harkin ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bell McLiam to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Lou McFrancise managed to get in a good position for a shot. Glantane's supporters rose to their feet, but Lou McFrancise was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Berrach McWilliam breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 55th match minute, RockoR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Breccan McNamee to maneuver through the defense. 57 minutes into the match, RockoR's goalkeeper Berrach McWilliam had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Basil Harkin. Glantane's Louis Todd got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Lou McFrancise had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Burke Dillon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute, one of RockoR:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for RockoR. Berrach McWilliam stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lou McFrancise's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Berrach McWilliam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lou McFrancise, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Burke Dillon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over Glantane could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than RockoR throughout the match.
