Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Lou McFrancise took the kick off in the first half of the match. Glantane's Beacan Quinnless played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beollan Harkin in the 3rd minute of play. Beacan Quinnless showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Becc McAlphie, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Ardaghy's Gordan McPeter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lou McFrancise in the 12th minute of play. Basil Harkin didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-0 via right post in the game's 19th minute. Glantane's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! After 28 minutes of play, Glantane's Basil Harkin made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gordan McPeter was left in no man's land by his defense there! The goalkeeper, Gordan McPeter, was totally fooled by Glantane's Barran Frankson, who 35 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. With a little luck, Ardaghy's Gordan McPeter got control of the ball when Basil Harkin tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Ardaghy booed when Glantane was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basil Harkin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Beacan Quinnless stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Becc McAlphie's shot from short distance in the 49th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.
Lou McFrancise fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gordan McPeter having to interfere. Basil Harkin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lou McFrancise took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gordan McPeter. Gordan McPeter dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Gordan McPeter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basil Harkin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Basil Harkin took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gordan McPeter. Gordan McPeter dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Basil Harkin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ardaghy's Barde McSteven got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Basil Harkin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Becc McAlphie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basil Harkin in the 89th minute of play forced Ardaghy's goalkeeper Gordan McPeter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lou McFrancise received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Gordan McPeter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gordan McPeter came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Glantane's Lou McFrancise. But to his dismay, Lou McFrancise quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Becc McAlphie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Beacan Quinnless tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
