Spectators: 6767 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1767, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Sameer McPhilip made the kick off which started today's match. In the 5th minute, Sameer McPhilip reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rorry Byrne. The goal made the score 1-0. A collision led to Galros getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Beltany Coyle hit a great ball. Doocastle's Rorry Byrne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sameer McPhilip in the 9th minute of play. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Doocastle's goalkeeper Rorry Byrne, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bardon Cronin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Rorry Byrne made a huge save. Rorry Byrne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antaine Frankson in the 13th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, Bardon Cronin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rd minute Timothy McSteve shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donahue McWillie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antaine Frankson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rorry Byrne having to interfere. If Sameer McPhilip had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donahue McWillie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brak McJon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Timothy McSteve recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Brak McJon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antaine Frankson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Rorry Byrne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felim Taylor's late challenge caught a Galros's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felim Taylor helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Doocastle booed when Galros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sameer McPhilip didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Brak McJon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felim Taylor got his second yellow card in the match during the 53rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 54 played minutes Doocastle got a freekick which was hit by Felim Taylor. Antaine Frankson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rorry Byrne read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Beothach Hunt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Antaine Frankson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute, Brak McJon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 71 minutes into the game, Antaine Frankson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Rorry Byrne was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 75th minute, Timothy McSteve got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Galros's Sameer McPhilip got a free kick in the 76th minute. When Timothy McSteve came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Doocastle fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Timothy McSteve couldn't finish the play. An unexpected shot in the 81st minute by Timothy McSteve got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 83rd minute, Antaine Frankson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 87 minutes, Timothy McSteve made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Galros's Donahue McWillie tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Antaine Frankson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rorry Byrne having to interfere.
